While surfing the Ravelry forums today, I happened upon a statement that made me laugh, then pause:
“If six-year-old peasant kids in England could learn to knit socks to sell and earn money for the family back in the pre-Industrial Revolution days, then I can do this, too.”
This is either encouraging, or really really damning. Anybody ever see the show Are You Smarter Than A Fifth-Grader?? This is kind of like that.
